Creating a Vibrant Green Building

The MA Building Mita and MA Building Mita III embody a consideration for people and the environment with their rooftop gardens and wall greenery created by Hibiya-Kadan Floral Co., Ltd. The rooftop garden also serves as a gathering spot for wild birds and other creatures living in the city.

Building Development One Step Ahead

Since its planning stage, the MA Building Mita has adopted various energy-saving measures, including energy-efficient air conditioners. In June 2023, the building obtained the “ZEB Ready” certification, one of the four levels of the ZEB* series promoted by Japan’s Ministry of the Environment(The MA Building Mita Ⅲ,currently in development,is also planned to be certified.). Other features include elevators made for stretchers, barrier-free facilities, and EV(electric vehicle) chargers,aiming to make the building friendly to both people and the environment.

100% Powered by Renewable Electricity

We have adopted the Premium Zero Plan from Idemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd., and the electricity we consume is 100% renewable energy.* The electricity used is derived from renewable energy sources, resulting in virtually zero carbon dioxide emissions.

*100% renewable energy, including FIT electricity, paired with non-fossil fuel energy certificates with tracking information. *Some properties have not adopted these measures.

Contributing to Local Community Associations

Mita Kosan is a member of the Mita Shopping District Promotion Association and sponsors the annual Mita Noryo Carnival. We will continue to contribute to our hometown Mita in Minato-ku, collaborating with local residents through the following neighborhood associations.

We support the Global Passport Program (GPP), a specialized international program run by the Faculty of Com-merce at Keio University, and the Keio CEMS MIM Programme, a world-class international MBA program where only one school per country is allowed to join.
